In the summer we host a special outdoor Messy. At Christmas we have a Messy Crib Service and we also do a special Messy for Easter on Good Friday at Emmanuel Church.
Messy Church is a way of exploring the bible through a range of activities, hospitality, as a celebration of Jesus and all he has done for us. Messy Church is for anyone of any age. A typical Messy Church session involves a creative explosion of a biblical theme with craft and sensory activities, games, prayer songs and finishing with the sharing of food together. Messy Church is a place to ask questions and explore the bible in a different way to a more traditional Church service.
